How is Floorball Basics Academy different from other Academies?

FBA is striving to create a Learn-to-Play Floorball Academy, where we welcome all to come learn this sport of Floorball.

We corporate elements of Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) into our lesson plans on top of learning Floorball, so that your child gets a more holistic education. We hire certified coaches that are experienced in Floorball or FMS coaching.

Where and when are your lessons held?

Our lessons are held at St. Patrick’s School (490E East Coast Road, Singapore 429058 - ISH Sports Hall)

What’s the attire expected for my child?

Do come in sporting attire (ie academy top, shorts, and above ankle height socks and indoor court shoes), bring Water bottle and towel (optional)

Are the classes suitable for both genders?

Yes, they are. We encourage both genders to come together to learn this sport of Floorball.

How do I know if my child belongs to Kids / Beginners group or Youth / Intermediate group?

These will depends on a few factors in play:

  • Current age / school level

  • Current physical ability

  • Prior skills acquired

  • Coaches' observation + Parents Discussion

This is to cater your child's current level and to place him / her at the right group so that learning and fun can be optimal.
